Cochituate Rail Trail
FCRTC

The Framingham Cochituate Rail Trail Committee is an ad hoc committee that reports to the the Board of Selectmen through the Department of Community and Economic Development. The committee consists of seven voting members who represent the Framingham Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, residents of Framingham, and employees of local businesses.

Framingham Cochituate Rail Trail Committee welcomes the public to attend its monthly meetings and to donate their time and skill toward this exciting ommunity project. Our meetings are generally once each month to discuss trail design, community outreach, fundraising, work days, tours, legal and environmental issues. We hold our meeting on the third Wednesday of the month.

The committee plans at least two work days each year as well as tours of the trail. It continues to be very active, participating in public hearings concerning proposed projects on abutting properties. The committee has actively raised public awareness of the trail through this website, brochures and trail signs along Old Connecticut Path and Route 30.
